How iQuantize compares.

It reads real music. Engraved drum notation on screen while you play, with a playhead on the bar and colour on every note — the same staff a teacher writes on, not a falling-block highway that teaches you nothing portable.

It measures seven skills, not one score. Note accuracy, timing with the click, internal pulse, timing stability, dynamic control, dynamic range and limb independence — and only the ones the chart actually contains. When it cannot measure something honestly it shows nothing rather than guessing. Here is what each of the seven means, and how drum apps score you in general.

It takes the click away. On grooves written for it the metronome drops out mid-take and those bars are scored separately, because playing tightly to a click and having time are different abilities and the first one hides the absence of the second.

It tells you one thing to do next. A verdict, up to three prioritised findings, a bar-by-bar map, and a single recommended action — then it picks the next groove itself by nearest-neighbour search from your weakest measured skill, with bounded steps in level and complexity.
