Where your practice data is stored

Updated 24 July 2026

On your device. Practice is local-first: takes are saved on the device as you play, and core practice works with no network connection at all.

No name, email address, username or password is required to practise. A verified account is optional for website-billed Pro and sharing that entitlement across Macs. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what the app and its sync backend handle.

Practice with feedback that tells you what to fix

iQuantize scores every take against the chart, names what slipped, and picks the next groove for your level.

Requires an electronic drum kit or a MIDI-capable drum module.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No account is required to practise. A verified account is used only for website-billed Pro, billing self-service, and sharing that entitlement across Macs.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The groove library and the drum sounds ship inside the app, so practice, scoring and feedback all work with no connection.
